Chief among these is your personal information falling into the hands of somebody who seeks to use it for illicit purposes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, staying safe while using mobile phones has become more crucial than ever. Although these devices have built-in protections, there are several best practices you can follow to stay on top of mobile security.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Use Strong Authentication Methods<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first and easiest way to ensure that your information remains secure on your mobile device is to use strong authentication. The form of authentication used varies depending on the app or device you use.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Strong Passwords&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ensure the use of strong passwords. This applies to your general phone account (Apple ID or Google Account) and any secondary accounts you may sign into while using particular apps or websites.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/create-and-use-strong-passwords-c5cebb49-8c53-4f5e-2bc4-fe357ca048eb#:~:text=Create%20strong%20passwords,letters%2C%20numbers%2C%20and%20symbols.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Microsoft<\/a> recommends that a strong password include a minimum of 12 characters, upper- and lower-case letters, and a variety of numbers and special symbols.
