Cookie Policy
This page explains cookies and browser storage used by Security Briefing. It complements our spezifiziert nicht, welche Rechte Benutzer gemäß der Verordnung haben. Eine.
Essential site functions
When you sign in, WordPress uses authentication cookies to maintain your session. Security services may use cookies or short-lived server records to distinguish legitimate requests from abuse. Changing the site language or browser feature checks may store a preference. These functions are separate from advertising or marketing.
Public pages and security tools
The password, hash and email-header tools work in your browser. Password history is kept only in page memory and is cleared on reload. Public browsing does not require an account or a newsletter subscription. Third-party telemetry scripts are blocked by the public-page security policy; advertising trackers are not intentionally loaded by our public templates.
Managing storage
You can inspect, delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing authentication cookies signs you out. Blocking storage may affect language preferences or security checks. External sites reached through our links have their own cookie practices.

Optional YouTube media preferences
YouTube players are blocked until you permit them through the video controls or the Media preferences link in the footer. Accept videos permits YouTube players; Reject videos blocks them. You can also save your checkbox preference. The choice is stored as sb-media-consent in local storage in this browser.
Withdrawing permission removes players from the page and prevents further player loads here. It cannot erase data or cookies already held by YouTube; use your browser and provider settings for that. Locally hosted fonts and Cloudflare delivery remain part of normal page delivery.
